Meeting facilities

The meeting facilities at Stéttin are very diverse.
From small virtual meeting rooms to specialised team collaboration and meeting spaces.

The phone box

Our favourite quiet space is the British telephone box that we got from the small town of Halkirk in Northern Scotland. It stood there for decades but now serves a new purpose on Stéttin, where it has been specially equipped for remote working and calls. The old coin-operated phone inside has apparently been made obsolete by the Fourth Industrial Revolution and has been replaced with Wi-Fi and a power socket!

Studio

Our studio is well-equipped with a large television, a whiteboard, podcast equipment and backdrops.

The Freezer

Frystiklefinn (the Freezer) is a co-working space that lives up to its name, as it formerly housed frozen lamb carcasses for the KÞ Slaughterhouse. Frystiklefinn is fully equipped with the latest technology for remote meetings and presentations. Price for non-residents of Hraðið: Half day – 25,000.- Full day – 40,000.-

Saltvik

Saltvík is also suitable as a meeting venue for up to 14 people. The name Saltvík was once the name of the fish processing plant at Hafnarstétt 3, which is now part of Stéttin.

Glass building

The glass building of Stéttin is the heart of the house. It has a cosy corner sofa with a fireplace and can be used for larger receptions and ceremonies. The site where it now stands was once a lively herring-salting district, and the building takes its name from this (Stéttin).

Þingey

In the meeting room, you can get comfortable in an armchair and close the door for short video calls or phone calls.

Klemma

Klemma is our small office. It accommodates one person and is specially equipped for remote meetings. Klemma has a comfortable chair and a small desk with a screen, keyboard and mouse.

Ram

Ram is a similar quiet room to Þingey. It has a comfortable armchair and a lamp, and is ideal for making phone calls and holding short remote meetings.

Loftið

Loftið A pleasant and well-equipped meeting space is available on the first floor of Langaneshús. The space is ideal for smaller meetings, workshops or brainstorming in a quiet and comfortable environment.

It is equipped with a screen, video conferencing equipment and good facilities for 6–8 people.
